The TASER C2 is a self-defense electronic control device equipped with state of the art laser aiming. Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) use propelled wires to conduct energy to affect the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system. In addition, the TASER C2 can be used as a direct contact stun device. The TASER C2 uses a replaceable TASER cartridge, containing compressed nitrogen, to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER C2 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters). The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing or one inch per probe.

The TASER Cartridge is one of the features that separate TASER products from the competition. With a distance of 15 feet (4.6m), and accuracy that can't be matched, they are the choice for personal protection.
TASER C2 Cartridges are compatible with all TASER C2 devices. All TASER Cartridges include a patented Anti-Felon Identifcation System (AFID) so that each cartridge use can be traced.
TASER C2 will need to be activated before use by performing a background check for $9.95.
